Vanifatieva Julia

Yulia graduated from Ivanovo State Textile Academy in 2008, her major was costume design. She also finished British Higher School of Art & Design in 2012.
Yulia has cooperated with such brands as TSUM, MTV, 2x2, Red Bull, the Snob magazine, CONDENAST publishing house.
Yulia Vanifatieva took part in the following exhibitions:

Now Daria exhibits her project «pinkpower» in the Art-Icon gallery. She uses magazines instead of canvass, cosmetics instead of paint and money instead of paper, creating sketches in the style of fashion illustrations. In her works the pink color is the metaphor of femininity, consisting of «flesh and blood», not of «sweets and pastry». Daria opposes the culture of glossy magazines and the cult of luster, prosperity and doll-like beauty with street culture.
