Saratov Andrey

In his work Andrey Saratov continues and creatively completes the classical Russian advance guard of the 20^th century, his pictures are characterized by the clear unified composition, juicy vibrant color, attentive audience will find Constructivism, Supermatism, Rayonism, Cubism and Abstractionism in them. The artist’s work is of clearly pronounced national nature, being simultaneously the traditional European painting; his works are welcomed by the educated, prepared audience.

He was born in Moscow. In 1975 he finished architectural college. During the period from 1979 to 1985 he studied at Moscow Higher School of Arts and Industry (currently Stroganov Academy). He has been a member of the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO since 1990. During the period from 1996 to 1999 he participated in the reconstruction of Cathedral of Christ the Savior. He lives and works in Moscow. He is a regular participant of exhibitions on Malaya Gruzinskaya, inter alia he took active part in the exhibition «Malaya Gruzinskaya, 28», Manezh, 1991.
