Samsonov Yuri

Samsonov Yuri was born in 1961 in Leningrad, where he received the basics of professional art education. His place of study was the restoration school, and the artist began his creative activity in the late 80's. In 1997, Yuri Samsonov became a member of the Union of Artists.

The artist says that each of his works is impromptu, he never alters or tweaks them. He writes a lot, but on average, out of twenty works, only one is presented to the public. On one painting, painted by Samsonov, he spends about as much time as is necessary for the paint to dry.

This is the creative principle of an artist working in the style of abstract expressionism. The main thing in this technique of painting and graphics is spontaneous work, performed exclusively under the influence of a momentary mood, an emotional state that has arisen.
