Marina Podgaevskaya received a diploma from Serov Arts College in Leningrad graduating from the Faculty of Interior Design in 1983. In 1998 she graduated from high school, where she studied ancient techniques of painting.
Marina has created more than five hundred works.
Most of her pictures are in private collections around the world. But some got into museums and galleries. For example, her original works are located at Pulkovo Observatory, St. Petersburg University and the Slovak embassy.
In 1991, Marina participated in the exhibition held in St. Petersburg. From 1995 to 1997 her works were presented at the exhibition in the Summer Garden. In 2001 she became a participant of the exhibition in "Smolny".
During 2005-2006 Podgaevskaya’s works were exhibited at "Residence" and "Gift" galleries in St. Petersburg. In 2006 she became a participant of the exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum.
In April 2007 she participated in St. Petersburg auction which had charitable aims. In the same year the artist presented her works at her personal exhibitions “Unobtrusive Dream" and "Unobtrusive Dream-2."
