Natalya was born in Moscow, on the 9-th of November 1976. In 1993 she finished Moscow City Teacher Training Gymnasium and entered the faculty of graphic arts of Moscow State Pedagogical University. In 1999 she joined the International Arts Fund. In 2006 Natalya also joined the Moscow Union of Designers. In September 2007 Natalya Novikova was awarded a silver medal for taking part in an exhibition held in VDNKh. She actively cooperates with a publishing house called «Our isograph» and participates in various exhibitions in Moscow and other cities. Some of Natalya`s paintings were used by ALROSA as a basis for promotional materials during the International Jewellery Tokyo expo in 2005. The company called «PROTEK» decorated the corporate Women`s Day greeting cards with the painting «The Peony» in 2007. In 2010 the gift fund of the president of the Russian Federation purchased the painting called «The Motocyclists». In 2012 the painting «Belorussky station» was included in the fine arts collection of the Museum of History of Moscow. In October 2012 Natalya presented her painting «Andronnikov monastery» to Beijing`s Ministry of Tourism. In 2013 Novikova won the fine arts nomination of the International art contest called «Art Preview». Nowadays Natalia mostly specializes on cityscape and the interplay of the city and its population. She has been working on these subjects under the pseudonym Natalya Voroshilova.
