Mitin Alexey

     Alexey Mitin was born in 1965. Alexey graduated from Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1987.
      4 years later he joined the Association of Experimental Fine Arts and since 1998 he is an active member of the Association’s exhibitions.
      In 1993, Alexey moved to Germany, then Pairs, Lyon and Hamburg, where he worked till 1996. During these years, the artist created still-life paintings and cityscapes and exhibited his work and performed individual orders.
      Since 1998, when Alexey had already returned homeland, he began to combine his work as an employee of the Hermitage with enthusiastic painting. Alexey is currently working at the State Hermitage Museum at the Department of Western European Art.
      You can see the works of Alexey Mitin in the Russian Museum and the Museum of City History, museums of other Russian cities (in Khabarovsk, Samara, Murmansk, Saratov), in the museums of Berlin - in particular in the Museum of the Berlin Wall, as well as in private collections of connoisseurs in Russia and abroad.
