Khristolyubov Igor

Igor Khristolyubov is a professional artist, sculptor and woodcarver. He was born in 1956 in Biysk, Altai Krai. In 1983 Igor graduated from Biysk teacher`s training college, becoming a certified fine arts teacher.  After that he lived in Barnaul and prepared to enter the university under the guidance of the prominent sculptor Mikhail Alexeevich Kulgachev. In 1992 Igor graduated from the sculpture faculty of Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry.  

By now Igor Khristolyubov has participated in a large number of joint and personal exhibitions both in Russia and the European Union.
All Igor`s artworks consist of various tree leaves. He looks for them himself and sometimes waits until the leaf dries out in order to see its eventual state. Some of the leaves are brought by Igor`s friends. Igor says, that he has been studying this kind of art for twenty years, but he still considers himself just an apprentice.
