Alexander was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in 1980. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television and Repin St. Petersburg State Academy of Painting, Scuplture and Architecture. He studied fine arts under the guidance of Mikhail Ivanov. In 2005 Alexander joined IFA, he has also been a full-time member of the «Free Culture» association (rus. «Свободная Культура») and the Fine Arts association since 2006. Alexander`s artworks are exhibited in the Museum of Nonconformist Art (St. Petersburg), The «Tsarskoselskaya Collection» Museum (rus. «Царскосельская Коллекция», St. Petersburg), The Museum of the Industrial Development of Norilsk Region (Norilsk), The Krasnoyarsk Museum Center (Krasnoyarsk), the «Erarta» Modern Art Museum (St. Petersburg), The National Fine Arts Museum of the Saha Republic (Yakutia) and The Moscow Museum of Modern Art (the MMOMA). Alexander Dashevskiy`s artworks have also been included into various private collections in Russia, the USA, Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Switzerland and Israel. He works as a professional artist, art critic and exhibition organizer.
