Baranova Margarita

Margarita Baranova was born in Leningrad in 1983. In 1994 Margarita entered B. Ioganson St. Petersburg State Academy Art Lyceum in order to study the basics of art, painting and composition, she graduated in 2001.    
From 2003 to 2009 Margarita studied in Ilya Repin State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture, she defended the master`s thesis under the direction of professor Pesikov V.S., she was also taught by Repin N.N., Lysak N.S., Blokhin N.D. Margarita Baranova currently lives in St. Petersburg, she participates in various art exhibitions and contests both in Russia and abroad (the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, Manege, various art galleries based in St. Petersburg etc., she also takes part in numerous foreign exhibitions).
In 2011 Margarita joined the fine arts section of the Russian Union of Artists. Her paintings have been included in a vast number of private collections all over the world. She has also taken part in the creation of some animated cartoons. Nowadays Margarita Baranova also gives fine arts lessons in the educational institutions of St. Petersburg.
